Anger's Anatomy

Anger is born at the threshold of your limits— a warning for all those who go too far. A call from within that shatters your silence, and let them know: it’s time to stop toying with your heart. Anger is valid. It shows you where you have been breached. But letting it out without control— where does it reach? It becomes a stab—right into a sentient heart. It devours your calm, drains your energy, a fatal force that disrupts your flow. Can this fierceness be tamed without corrupting you and me? Can we rise above this impulse, to unlearn the ways of rage and strife? Your anger—honour it, give it a face. Hold it—don’t repress or express with haste. May the universe lend you your well-needed grace, to conquer your demons and finally find your place.

The Absentee

Have you seen a mother who forgot how to care? Have you known a father who was never really there? Do you have contempt for your own kin? Your emotions don’t lie—they come from within. They too have faced the world’s cruel hand, Once a child, innocent and bright. They struggled to survive, but their world was hard. They did survive—but was it worthwhile? Forgiveness is hard, forgetting even more. It can't be forced, for it comes from your core. Build your boundaries, respect your soul. Be present, and strive to make yourself whole.

If none are found, in me I’ll abide.

I see a world within me that’s ocean-deep, And a world without me, where scavengers creep. I’ve strived to live out there—never felt alive. Can I live out there, and let my spirit thrive? Can I live out there, and not let my essence die? Can I manifest my truth and not be judged? Lay bare my soul and not be crushed? Can I not be abandoned or wounded for once? Can I trust my heart and rest for once? Can I find someone who perceives me? Can I choose someone who believes in me? A kindred spirit who greets my soul, With an open mind and an eager heart. A being that fosters my inner light— A soul that becomes my counterpart. If none are found, I’ll be my light. If none are found, in me I’ll abide.

A Sad Day, Not a Bad One

Sadness, a valid emotion... It has its rightful place in the tapestry of expression— a messenger from the depths of your soul, whispering what you care about most. And sometimes, it tells you what you must let go. Don’t push it down, don’t hide it right away. It won’t take away the weight of your pain. Sit up straight. Take a deep breath. Hold it for a moment— and let go with a sigh that’ll ease your ache. Pretending you aren’t sad won’t heal your soul. Embrace the many shades of you. Be kind to your spirit. And may your sadness enlighten you— to be kind to fellow souls, too.
